The Harvard Foundation manages several programs with the intent to extend intercultural and race relations outreach. The Portraiture Project seeks to do so by commissioning and unveiling portraits of faculty from marginalized communities that have served Harvard. Our Associates Program utilizes student associates to act as peers educated in racial sensitivity and awareness specifically in House/Dorm settings, in conjunction with the Race Relations Advising provided by the House/Yard Deans. In order to stimulate academic thought regarding race in artistic mediums, the Writers and Film Series aim to invite authors and directors of racially relative works to share their vision with the Harvard community. These programs constitute another fraction of the Harvard Foundation's mission.
