Matias will oversee flagship educational programs such as the Scholarship and Social Justice Conference, advance student leadership and development, and drive the strategy for student-led diversity programming efforts. He will also support and coach College students in academic, programming, and diversity matters and serve as a primary contact for undocumented and DACA students. 

Prior to joining the Foundation, Matias served as a Director of Programs at Harvard's Phillips Brooks House Association. At PBHA, he supported student leaders in charge of advocacy programs, Cambridge youth programs, and the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter. Matias holds a degree in political science from UCLA and a graduate certificate in philosophy and ethics from the Harvard Extension School. He is originally from Argentina and lives with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys soccer, music, gardening, and community events.
